This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how one-time purchases (Premium Lifetime and Topic Packs) work on the Dekho learning mobile application (the "App"), operated by Dekho Media ("we", "us", "our"). By making a purchase, you agree to this Policy together with our Terms & Conditions.
All purchases are processed through a trusted, secure payment gateway. We do not store your card or banking details. All plans are one-time payments — there is no auto-renewal on current plans.
1. One-Time Purchases — No Auto-Renewal
- Premium Lifetime (currently ₹299, or the price shown at purchase) unlocks all premium lessons for the lifetime of the service with a single payment.
- You are charged only once for these purchases — nothing renews and no future charges are created.
2. Legacy Subscriptions (Older App Versions)
- Current plans are one-time purchases and do not renew. However, if you purchased an older auto-renewing plan in a previous version of the App, that mandate may still be active.
- Payments are processed through a secure payment gateway. We do not store your card or banking details.
3. How to Cancel a Legacy Subscription
Cancelling stops future renewals but does not delete your account.
If you had subscribed via UPI AutoPay: stop the recurring mandate from the AutoPay / Mandates section of your UPI app (e.g., Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), or email us at support@dekhomedia.in and we will cancel it for you.
After cancelling, you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for; you will not be charged again.
4. Refunds for One-Time Purchases
- Premium Lifetime and Topic Packs provide immediate access to digital content, so they are generally non-refundable once purchased and unlocked, except where required by applicable law.
- If a purchase was made by mistake and the content has not been accessed, email us within 48 hours at support@dekhomedia.in — approval is at our discretion.
- Refunds for legacy subscription charges are handled the same way — contact support; we generally do not refund amounts already charged except where required by law.
5. Topic Packs (One-Time Purchases)
- Topic Packs are one-time purchases that permanently unlock a specific set of lessons. They do not auto-renew.
- Because topic packs provide immediate access to digital content, they are generally non-refundable once the pack has been purchased and the content has been unlocked or accessed, except where required by applicable law.
- If a topic pack was purchased by mistake and has not been accessed, you may request a refund by contacting us at support@dekhomedia.in; approval is at our discretion.
6. Failed, Duplicate or Unauthorised Payments
If you were charged but did not receive access, were charged more than once for the same purchase, or notice a payment you did not authorise, please contact us at support@dekhomedia.in with your transaction details and registered mobile number. After verification, eligible amounts will be refunded to your original payment method.
7. Refund Processing Time
Where a refund is approved, it is credited back to your original payment method. Timelines depend on the provider:
- Approved refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days, though the exact time may vary by your bank or card issuer.
8. How to Request a Refund
- For Google Play purchases: request a refund from Google Play → Order history, or visit Google Play's help centre.
- For any other help: email support@dekhomedia.in from your registered email, with your registered mobile number, the purchase (subscription or topic pack), and the order/transaction ID. Do not share your OTP with anyone.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified within the App or by other means. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
